MY STORY

All my life, I've been drawn toward caring for babies and children. I was that little girl who oohed and aahed over every baby I saw, and I ran outside every time the neighbor kids were in the yard. As soon as I was old enough, I took babysitting classes and I started watching children in my community. I even worked at the YMCA, walking there after school to run the child care room while parents hit the gym.

Fast forward a few years: I graduated from SRU in 2005 with a B.S. in Psychology, and married my college sweetheart. I spent the next few years working with children one-on-one in home, school and community settings in central Pa. We started our family there, welcoming our first two boys.
After moving to Belle Vernon in 2011, I began babysitting in my home and we were wonderfully surprised by baby boy #3! I went back to school at CalU to become a Physical Therapist Assistant and I worked at a nursing home and Mon Valley Hospital before deciding to license my home as a Family Daycare Home in 2016.

I am so excited to be working with children again, and to be sharing my home with wonderful families!
